St. Anne's RTC
Western Province

St Anne's Vocational School was established in 1977 by a Dominican sister from Sydney, Australia. At the time, female trainees were relocated from Dominic's Rural Training Centre, at Vanga Point, Kolombangara, following a devastating fire. The Dominican Sisters of Solomon Islands now run the centre.
The institution aims to provide ongoing education to young women from villages who leave formal school after standard six, equipping them with the skills to contribute to the vitality and well-being of their villages – both spiritually, culturally, materially and socially. The skills we teach them are aimed at shaping the girls into good future leaders and Christian mothers contributing to their society. Our students are very committed and are a blessing and service to their community.
