Belanimanu Village-based Centre

Belanimanu is a residential village-based centre at Marau Sound, on the Weathercoast of (East) Guadalcanal. The centre is controlled by the Catholic Church, but it was developed by our community for returning Grade 6 school drop-outs.

Short courses

Bookkeeping - 3 weeks, Carpentry - 4 weeks, Life Skills - 4 weeks, Mechanics - 4 weeks. Courses include: Bible Studies, English and Mathematics.
Course fee

$20 fee per workshop.

How to get here

It's a six-hour (4-wheel) drive from Honiara, or two hours by outboard motor from Marau.
