Don Bosco

Don Bosco is a Secondary Technical School of the Catholic Church, Salesian community, and a full member of SIARTC. Our Institute is new and young, located close to town, but separate from it - a good flat site, within a few minutes of the Henderson Domestic Airport in Guadalcanal, (just outside Honiara).

Courses	Manpower Training: Two-stroke Engine Mechanics, Welding. Technician training: automotive technology, welding, fabrication technology.
Course duration	Three-year technical curriculum for standard six school leavers, and two-year technical training programme in Auto-mechanic Engineering. Six-month short courses for older students in two-stroke engine and welding technologies. Six-month short courses in Carpentry and Electricity soon to follow.
Annual fee	Range from $750 to $1,350 depending on course year one, $900 from year two.
To apply	Applicants should include in their application references from pastor or parish priest, and they should be accompanied by parent, and attend the orientation meeting being given.
