Garanga Rural Training Centre is in the north of Ysabel Province, close to the Garanga River. We are a residential rural training centre, owned jointly by the Ysabel Provincial Government and the Church of Melanesia, Diocese of Isabel.The centre was transferred from Tasia Island to the present site in 2001.

| How to get here | Our site
is not easily accessible from the villages of Maringe Lagoon, and
the River is prone to flooding. It's an hour's journey by outboard
motor from the wharf at Buala, to the mouth of the Garanga River.
From here, it's a 30-minute walk, following the bank of the river,
to our centre. |
