Luesalo Rural Training Centre
 Temotu Province

Luesalo (which means 'safe anchorage' in our indigenous language) is a residential rural training centre, under the authority of the Church of Melanesia, Diocese of Temotu. Our site is a flat piece of coastland in Graziosa Bay. Some areas have been land-filled and planted with orchids and flowering shrubs. We are not far from the market and commerial centre.

Courses

Agriculture, Bee-keeping, Carpentry, English, Health, Life Skills, Maths, Public Speaking, Reading, Study Skills, Theology and Catechism. A foundation programme is also planned for the near future.

To apply Applicants should have completed Form 3 or 5. Please send your application with a reference letter from a priest at your church, or the Principal of the last school attended.

How to get here

A direct flight from Honiara to Lata takes two hours. It's an extra 10 minutes by outboard motor to outcentre.
