Mana'abu Village-based Centre

Mana'abu, which means 'holy place' in our indigenous language, is a village-based centre in North Malaita, owned by the community of Mana'abu residential area. Our coastal village with its white sand beach, nice bay and lovely large trees. We have five teachers at Mana'abu, and can accommodate 20 students at a time.

Courses

Agriculture, Business, Early Child Development, Food and Nutrition, Health, Home Economics, Literacy, Mechanics, Youth and Community Development. We also run short outreach and community workshops.

How to get here

30 minutes' flight from Honiara to Auki, then 3-4 hours' by truck from Auki airfield to Malu'u, and a further 15 minutes by outboard motor.
