Vanga Teachers College is a new college, opened in March 2002, located at Vanga Point, Kolombangara, Western Province. It is adjacent to St. Dominic’s Rural Training Centre. The College is a home as well as teacher training institute for 20 (10 female and 10 male) young graduates from different RTCs in the Solomons.

Vanga College's mission is to train RTC graduates to become qualified RTC instructors who share an ethos of hard work and responsibility, and who will pass on their knowledge and practical skills to students, to equip them to live useful and productive lives in rural areas.
